Dr. Sofka is a board certified medical physician specialist, specializing in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Manipulative Medicine (ONMM). She is not a chiropractor, naturopath, naprapath, or PT. She does not provide primary care services.

I give back by charging below the average office visit to benefit our local community and the region to have improved health and quality of life. I am one of the only specialists in my field in the Albuquerque area.
You are getting an amazing deal also since I spend often 45 minutes to an hour with my patients. As an added bonus, I also provide a SuperBill to my patients, where they can seek reimbursement from their insurance. I also accept HSA and FSA for payment."
What is a SuperBill?

A SuperBill is a form that medical offices use to bill insurance companies, so your services are covered by the insurance instead of you. Most offices bill insurance companies directly and what is not paid, often is left to the patient to pay. In our office, you pay the whole cost upfront, aka no surprise medical bill. We try to keep the cost as low as possible for our patients to continue care with us.
At the end of your visit, we give you the SuperBill form that you can submit to insurance yourself for reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement varies greatly between insurance companies, and we cannot guarantee how much will be reimbursed.​
Meet the Doctor
Dr. Megan Sofka was raised in southern New Mexico. She is a proud New Mexican, completing her undergraduate and medical degrees from New Mexico institutions. Later completing her residency training at one of the premier OMM residencies in the United States, located in New York City. She is a board certified physician specializing in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Manipulative Medicine.
Dr. Sofka always had the drive to practice medicine in New Mexico, and is grateful to bring her skills she learned in New York City to help advance medical care and serve the New Mexico community at large. Dr. Sofka is not your typical physician. She has traveled all over the nation to gain a skill set with the goal to help any patient with osteopathic medicine.
